Who Said This About Writer’s Block?

I recall that an author made the following observation about writer’s block, but I can’t remember who it was.  If you know, please tell me.  It goes something like this:

My father was a truck driver. Every working day, for over thirty years, he climbed behind the wheel, adjusted his mirrors, started the engine and drove for eight hours.  He never once had Drivers Block.  Driving was his job.

As writers, we need to climb into our chairs, adjust our screens, or sharpen our pencils, and just plough ahead. If being an author is the career you want, please treat it as a job – one, I suspect brings you a fair amount of joy.
